Theme Installation

• Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels.
• Go to the Appearance panel, then Themes.
• Click Add New.
• In Search themes… type ‘AcmeBlog’.
• When ‘AcmeBlog’ appears click Install button
• After Installing the theme Click Activate button

Dummy Data

Before importing the demo content. It is required that you install necessary plugins. They are:
1. Acme Demo Setup
2. Advanced Import

Then you can follow the path below:

• Dashboard > Appearance > Demo Import 
• Click on Get Started and a page will appear with a thumbnail image of the demo design.(There can be more than 1 demo design in some themes)
• Hover over the image and click on Import
• Then in few minutes the demo will be imported in your site and you can visit your site now.

Setting up Image Sizes

• Go to the Settings, then Media.
• Set thumbnail size : 500 * 280
• Set Medium size : 690 * 400
• Set Large size : 1080 * 530
• Click to Save the Changes

How to make the image size as on demo?

First, go to Settings > Media
Set thumbnail size : 500 * 280
Set Medium size : 690 * 400
Set Large size : 840 * 480
Click on Save Changes to save the change.

We recommend you to use plugin named Acme Fix Image 
to crop the actual size of the images.

Start Adding-Editing Contents in your site

Now you can start adding/editing content in you site

• Add Categories and Posts.
• Add different Pages.

Using Theme Customization Options

• ‘AcmeBlog’ comes with advanced Theme Customization options.
• Go to the Appearance, then Customize.
• Now you can customize you site with great theme customization options.

Manage Site Title, Tagline and Site Icon

• From Customize, go to Site Identity
• You will see options for Site Title, Tagline, Site Icon
• After adding/editing them, don’t forget to click ‘Save & Publish’ button at the top

Creating Menus

• From Customize, go to Menus or go to Menus under Appearance
• You can setup everything related to menus there

Setting up Front page and Blog ( Posts ) page

• From Customize, go to Static Front Page or Reading under Settings
• Choose a A static page
• Now select Front page and Posts page from the dropdown
• Note: if you don’t have added pages for this, first add pages from WordPress Admin panel => Pages

How to setup features sections

Featured sections includes Featured Slider and Slider Right Sections ( 2 block sections )

Featured Slider ( Category Slider )

• From Customize, go to Featured Section Options then Category Slider Selection
• Select one of the category for Featured Slider

Slider Right Sections ( 2 block sections )

• From Customize, go to Featured Section Options then Slider Right Section
• Select Post One and Select Post Two for Right section

Enable/Disable Feature Section

• From Customize, go to Featured Section Options then Enable Feature Section
• You can enable or disable this section

Managing widgets in sidebar

• From Customize, go to Widgets and Main Sidebar Area
• Add the necessary widgets from the available Widgets
• Drag up or down to manage the position of Widgets
• After adding/editing them, don’t forget to click ‘Save & Publish’ button at the top

Header Options

• From the Header options, you can customize your site header
• From Customize, go to Header Options

How to setup site logo and its options

• From Customize, go to Header Options then Logo Options
• You will find advanced Logo Options
• Manage your logo with the available options and click on ‘Save & Publish’ button to save your change

How to enable-disable Date in header section

• From Customize, go to Header Options then Enable Date
• You can show/hide date

How to Enable/Disable Social Links on Header

• From Customize, go to Header Options then Social Options
• You will find options for Social Links
• Add the URL of your social sites
• Click on ‘Enable social’ to show the social icons on header or unchecked to hide

How to Enable/Disable Search icons on Header

• From Customize, go to Header Options then Search Options
• Click on ‘Show Search’ to show the search icon on header and unchecked to hide

How to change the Copyright Text on Footer

• From Customize, go to Footer Option and Copyright Text
• Write your Footer Copyright Text
• Click on ‘Save & Publish’ button to save your change

• From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Colors
• You can change Background Color and Primary Color
• Click on ‘Save & Publish’ button to save your changes

How to Add/Remove the background image

• From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Background Image
• You can add or remove the Background Image
• Manage the Background Image based on available options
• Click on ‘Save & Publish’ button to save your changes

• You can show/hide Related Posts in Single post there
• Check to show related post on single page and unchecked to hide
