Theme Installation

From WordPress Dashboard  Appearance > Themes

1. Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels.
2. Go to the Appearance panel, then Themes.
3. Click Add New.
4. Upload the Zip file of Education Base Pro
5. After Installing the theme Click Activate button

Note: After the theme purchased, you can find the theme on My Account page.

FTP Installation (alternate method)

1. Use your FTP software to browse to wp-content/themes folder.
2. Extract education-base-pro.zip and upload the folder.
3. Once it’s uploaded, go to your WordPress Admin, browse to Appearance > Themes.
4. Click the Activate link.

• Contact Form 7
• WooCommerce (Only for eCommerce Site)

Dummy Data

Before importing the demo content. It is required that you install necessary plugins. They are:
1. Acme Demo Setup
2. Advanced Import

Then you can follow the path below:

• Dashboard > Appearance > Demo Import 
• Click on Get Started and a page will appear with a thumbnail image of the demo design.(There can be more than 1 demo design in some themes)
• Hover over the image and click on Import
• Then in few minutes the demo will be imported in your site and you can visit your site now.

Note: We recommend you to import demo data on new installation.

Adding Pages

Adding a new page is the same way as default WordPress installations, however, there are extra options that might need explaining.

This theme is specially build for corporate purpose. Usually each page have content and featured image.  Featured image will display on front page, in single page.

Adding Featured Image

1. Go to Admin Panel
2. Go to Pages > Add New
   
3. Give the title of the Page
4. Write the content of the Page
5. Scroll to down and see the right corner, you will find the Set Featured Image section

This theme can fully customize from the Customize section. To customize theme, Go to Appearance > Customize. You will find the various options related to theme.

Parent Page and Child Pages

This theme is based on Parent Page and Child Pages. All the section on the home page are managed by Widgets and the content on the sections are called from Child Pages.

Parent Page will be a selector page and the content of it’s child page will appear on front end. Look here to know about how to create a Child Pages.

Home Page/Make Home Page as Demo

Are you wondering about how to create home page as our demo ? Here we are going to present you how to make home page as demo. Please just follow the below procedure to make it. It’s simple to create home page.
1. Install Theme Education Base Pro

• Go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Themes > Add New and upload education-base-pro. zip(If activated already, skip this step)
• Click on Install and then Activate

2. Create Page for Home and Blog
You need at most two pages, one for Home and another for Blog, to make like demo. Please follow this below steps to
set home page.

• Go to admin panel > Pages > Add New
• Give the title of page(Example: Home Page)
• Click on Publish to publish page.
• Create another page(for Blog), follow the above page creation method.

3. Set Home page and Blog page
Please set home page and blog page with following procedure.

• Go to admin panel > Settings > Reading
• Click on “A static page (select below)”
• Set Front page: (Home Page recently created above)
• Posts page:(Blog you recently created)

4. Preview front page
View the front page, the featured section(Slider Section) will appear. To change the slider,

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Featured Section Options > Feature Slider Selection
• Select parent page and its sub-pages will be shown is slider.
• Or choose the other options for slider as well. (Recent Post, Category, Custom or Third Party)

5. Section below the slider
Are you wondering how to add the section below the slider ? It’s simple, please follow the below process:

• Go to Appearance > Widget
• Add the available widget (Example AT About Section) on “Home Main Content Area”
• Look here to know how to make About Section.
• Use the available options of the Widgets
• View the home page, you will find the about section there.

6. More section on Home Page
If you need more section on home page, just add the available widget there on “Home Main Content Area”
You will find the others section below.

• Make Team Section On Home Page.(Follow Same Parent Page and Child Page Process)
• Make Testimonial Section on Home Page.(Follow Same Parent Page and Child Page Process)

Theme Options and Setting on Customizer

All the team options and settings are available on Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize. From this section you can manage,

• Site Title, Tagline & Logo

Site Title, Tagline & Logo

• From Customize, go to Site Identity
• You will get the options to manage Site title, tagline and logo.
• Use the available options to customize the logo, site title and tagline.
• If preview is fine Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Slider Sections

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Featured section options

Enable Slider

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Featured section options > Enable Featured section.
• Checked on Enable Featured Section
• Featured section will display on Front/Home page
• If preview is fine, click on “Save & Publish” button to save the changes.

Featured Slider Selection

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Featured section options > Feature Slider Selection.
• Select the Parent Page and its child pages will appear on slider. Look here to create child pages.
• If preview is fine, click on “Save & Publish” to save the changes.
• Featured Image of each sub page will appear as a slider image.
• You have options to choose the featured slider from Category, Recent Post as well as Custom Sliders.
• You have options for Third Party Slider as well. Enter the shortcodes for the third party slider.

Featured Slider Options 

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Featured section options > Feature Slider Options.
• In this section you can manage everything related to sliders.
• Manage Slider Height, No of Sliders, Number of Words In Contents, Slider Speed, Slider Text Align, Enable Autoplay,  Enable Controls, Enable Animation etc.
• Manage the every entity from this section.
• If preview is fine, Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Header Options

• From the Header options, you can customize your site header
• Go to Appearance > Customize > Header options
• You can manage the phone number, email and social icons on the header.
• You can manage Header Image from this section as well.

Footer Options

• From Customize, go to Footer Option
• You can manage every entity related to the footer section from here.
• Manage number of sidebars on footer, Copyright text, Your Own Powered By Text, Enable/Disable go to top, Enable/disable social on footer, Footer Background Image etc.
• If preview is fine, click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Layout/Design Option

Very flexible options for changing you site layout, design and colors.

Layout Design Section Includes:

• Intro Loader Options

• Color Options (Basic & Advanced)

Every section above have lots of features inside it. Check one by one.

Intro Loader Options

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Layout/Design Options > Intro Loader Options
• Select the background image, color and enable the intro loader section.
• Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Animation

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Layout/Design Options > Animation
• If you want to Enable/Disable the animation, you can check/uncheck the options available there.

Button Design

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Layout/Design Options > Button Design
• Select the available options for the Button design.
• Choose the best design.
• If preview is fine, click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Front Page Content Options 

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Layout/Design Options > Front Page Content Options
• If you want to hide the front page content, simply checked on Hide Front Page Content.

Default Sidebar Layout

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Layout/Design Options > Default Sidebar Layout
• If you select the default sidebar, this will appear on all pages. You can override the sidebar on individual pages as well. Edit the page and scroll to down to see the options for managing on individual pages.

Default Blog Archive Layout 

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Layout/Design Options > Default Blog/ Archive Layout
• You can manage the Archive/Blog or Author page layout globally.
• You have Image display options, Description Length In Words, Show Description From(Content/Excerpt), Read More Text Options, Exclude Categories In Blog/Archive Pages,  Show Hide Date/author/category/tags/comments etc.
• Use the available options and if preview is fine, click on save and publish button to save the changes.
• This layout will work only on Blog/Archive Pages. Example Page Link on Demo.

Color Options

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Layout/Design Options > Basic Color Options
• You have multiple options to choose the color for every section.
• Choose the required color and click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Font Family

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Layout/Design Options > Font Family
• More than 100 fonts family are available on the theme. You can change the font family of every section of your site.

Background Image

• From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Background Image
• You can add or remove the Background Image
• Manage the Background Image based on available options
• Click on ‘Save & Publish’ button to save your changes.

Single Post Options

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Single Post Options
• You can manage every section of the Single Post Page.

This Section Includes;

• Related Post Options
• Author Info Options
• Featured Image Options
• Meta Display Options
• Post Navigation Options
• Post Comment Options etc.

Related Post Options

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Single Post Options > Related Post Options 
• You will get lots of options to manage the Related Post on Single Post.
• Use the available options there.
• If preview is fine, click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

Author Info Options

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Single Post Options > Author Info Options 
• Checked on  Show Author Info to show author info on Single Page.

Featured Image Options 

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Single Post Options > Featured Image Options
• Checked on Hide Featured Image, Feature image will be hide on single post

Meta Display Options 

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Single Post Options > Meta Display Options
• You have options to hide Date, Author, Tags & Category etc.

Post Navigation Options

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Single Post Options > Post Navigation Options
• You have multiple options for the Post Navigation Options. Choose the best options for it.

Post Comment Options 

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Single Post Options > Post Comment Options
• You have various options to manage this section. Use the available options for it.

Theme Options

Theme Options helps to manage the section including Breadcrumb, Search Placeholder etc.

Manage the every section for Breadcrumb and Search Placeholder.

How to Make Our Services Section ?

1.  Create a Page(Parent Page). Example: Services
2. Create Page(Child Page). Example: Services 1, Services 2, Services 3 & Services 4. Look here to know about creating child pages.
3. Go to Appearance > Customize > Widgets > Home Main Content Area > Select the AT Service Section Widgets
4. Select the Parent Page (Services)
5. Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.
6. View on Front End. Services section will appeared there.

Where to add the icons on services section ? 

1. While adding pages, you will get a section to add the icon class.
2. Please add the Google Font awesome icon class there.
3. Please see the screenshot below for details.

How to visible Excerpt Section on Pages & Post? 

1. Go to Pages > Add new or Edit the page
2. View at the top, you will see the screen options
3. Click there and Checked on Excerpts
4. After that Excerpt will visible. Please scroll to down to see it.
5. Please have a look on the screenshot for the details.

How to add Image, Descriptions and Social Links on Author Details?

If you want to add the detail descriptions of author, please follow the below steps:

• Go to Administration Panel > Users > All Users and Edit the Users
• You will find the details section there.

Note: You need to enable the author descriptions from Customize > Single Post Options  first and it will appear on single post page.

Make Team, Testimonials, Clients etc section

All the section on the home page are based on child/parent page and widget. You can create the parent page as a selector and it’s child pages to display on the front end. Follow the same procedure, as our services section above to make the other sections as well.
