We believe this documentation help you to install, setup and customize your site using our theme ‘SuperNewsPro’.

Theme Installation

• Download SuperNewsPro theme from Acme Themes on your desktop or other specified folder.
• Log in to WordPress administrative panel.
• Go to Appearance > Themes > Add New
• Click on Uploads and browse the supernewspro .zip  from the desktop or other specified folder you have downloaded it.
• Click on Install Now and click on Activate to install and activate theme.

Manual Installation

• Download SuperNewsPro theme from Acme Themes on your desktop or other specified folder. Unzip supernewspro.zip to your Desktop on other;specified folder.
• Using an FTP connection to access your host web server. Go to /wp-content/themes/ and make sure that you do not already have a supernewspro folder installed there. If already installed there, then back it up and remove it from /wp-content/themes/ before uploading your copy of SuperNewsPro theme.
• Upload SuperNewsPro to /wp-content/themes/
• Activate SuperNewsPro through “Appearance => Themes”, in your WordPress Dashboard

DummyData

Before importing the demo content. It is required that you install necessary plugins. They are:
1. Acme Demo Setup
2. Advanced Import

Then you can follow the path below:

• Dashboard > Appearance > Demo Import 
• Click on Get Started and a page will appear with a thumbnail image of the demo design.(There can be more than 1 demo design in some themes)
• Hover over the image and click on Import
• Then in few minutes the demo will be imported in your site and you can visit your site now.

Note: We recommend you to import demo data on new installation.

 How to make the image size as on demo?

First, go to Settings > Media
Set thumbnail size : 500 * 280
Set Medium size : 600 * 365
Set Large size : 840 * 480
Click on Save Changes to save the change.

We recommend you to use plugin named Acme Fix Image 
to crop the actual size of the images.

How to make your site as our Demo ?

You want to make your site as same as our demo? Here i am going to present you how to make home page as demo. Please just follow the below procedure to make it. It’s simple to create home page. Look here too.

1. Install Theme SuperNewsPro

• Go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Themes > Add New and search theme SuperNewsPro
• or Download theme from Here.
• Click on Install and then Activate

2. Setting Image Size

• The main thing for making your site as our demo is with setting up image size. Please fol|ow this steps:
• Go to Settings > Media
• Set Thumbnail Size 500 * 280
• Medium Size 660 * 365
• Large Size 840 * 480
• Click on Save Changes to save the above data.

3. Fixed Images Size
After completion the 2nd step, please install and activate plugin named Acme Fix Images.

• Go to Appearance > Acme Fix Images(After Installation plugin Acme Fix Images, this sub menu will appear under Appearance)
• Click on Fix All Images
• Wait until all the images fixed.

4. Create Page for Home and Blog
You need at most two pages, one for Home and another for Blog, to make like demo. Please follow this below steps to
set home page.

• Go to admin panel > Pages > Add New
• Give the title of page(Example: Home Page)
• Click on Publish to publish page.
• Create another page(for Blog), follow the above page creation method.

5. Set Home page and Blog page
Please set home page and blog page with following procedure.

• Go to admin panel > Settings > Reading
• Click on “A static page (select below)”
• Set Front page: (Home Page recently created above)
• Posts page:(Blog you recently created)

6. Preview front page
View the front page, the featured section will appear. To change the featured section content,

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Featured Section Options > Category Selection For Featured Section
• Select the category from the dropdown.
• If not enabled, Checked on Enable Featured Section.

7. Section below the featured section
Are you wondering how to add the section below the featured section? It’s simple, please follow the below process:

• Go to Appearance > Widget
• Add the available widget (Example AT Posts Column) on “Home Main Content Area”
• Use the available options of the Widgets
• View the home page, you will find the about section there.

8. More section on Home Page
If you need more section on home page, just add the available widget there on “Home Main Content Area”.

Start Adding-Editing Contents in your site

Now you can start adding/editing content in you site

Add Categories and Posts.

You know how to add Categories and post? Please follow the below instruction to add categories and post.

• Go to admin panel > Posts > Categories
• Add the name and slug of categories
• Click on Add New Category

Category will automatically listed on the right side of categories list. Please see the below screenshot to know more easier.

Are you wondering about how to add post on WordPress? It’s simple. Please follow the below steps and see screenshot.

• Go to admin panel > Posts > Add New
• Give the title of the post
• Write the content
• Set the featured image
• Click on publish to save the changes.

Add different Pages.

You can add pages as similar with adding post. Please follow the below steps.

• Go to admin panel > Pages > Add New
• Give the title of the Page
• Write the content
• Set the featured image
• Click on publish to save the changes.

Using Theme Customization Options

• ‘SuperNewsPro‘ comes with advanced Theme Customization options.
• Go to the Appearance, then Customize.
• Now you can customize you site with great theme customization options.
• Please see the below screenshot for using customizer.

Manage Site Title, Tagline, Logo and Site Icon

• From Customize, go to Site Identity
• You will see options for Site Title, Tagline, Site Icon
• You can replace site title and tagline with logo or use logo also.
• After adding/editing them, don’t forget to click ‘Save & Publish‘ button at the top

Creating Menus

• From Customize, go to Menus
• You can setup everything related to menus there

Setting up Front page and Blog ( Posts ) page

• From Customize, go to Static Front Page
• Choose a A static page
• Now select Front page and Posts page from the dropdown
• Note: if you don’t have added;pages for this, first add pages from WordPress Admin panel => Pages

How to setup features sections ?

Featured sections includes up six post from a recent post, category, tags and custom (Up to 6 block sections ), You can easily create slider with 1 per slide, 2 per slide up to 6 per slide. You can easily manage slider options, navigation options, slide speed, duration between two slides, slide effects as well as you can show/hide category, date, comments etc on that section easily.

Enable/Disable Feature Section

• From Customize, go to Featured Section Options then Enable Feature Section
• You can enable or disable this section.
• After Enabling this section, you will get the options to manage it inside the Featured Section Options.

Featured Section Selection:

You can select this section from Recent Posts, Category, Tags and can create Custom section. Select one of the selection method for featured section.

Note: Some features may not work while creating Custom Section.

• From Customize, go to ‘Featured Section Options‘ then ‘Featured Section Selection‘ and ‘Feature Selection From‘
• Use the available options to manage this section.
• If you enable the slider mode, features for managing slider will be enabled automatisally.
• You can manage this section from here.
• If preview is fine, click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

How to control the slider on Featured Section?

This section will only visible if you select, Slider Mode

• From Customize, go to Featured Section Options then Featured Slider Options
• Set Slider Speed (in ms)
• Check to Enable Auto play slide. Unchecked will disable the auto play of slide.
• Set the time for Slider Pause (in ms) (The amount of time (in ms) between each auto transition)
• Check and Unchecked to Enable Controls Next and Previous control.

Enable Disable Category/Date/Comments on Slider

You can easily show/hide the category, date and comments from here.

Managing widgets in sidebar

• From Customize, go to Widgets or Appearance > Widgets
• You will see 11( Eleven ), Sidebar ( Widgets ) Areas, By name you will know what they are for.
• ‘Home Main Content Area‘ is for Home Page
• ‘Main Sidebar Area‘ is for Main Sidebar
• ‘Left Sidebar‘ is for Main Sidebar
• ‘Footer Top Column One‘
• ‘Footer Top Column Two‘
• ‘Footer Top Column Three‘.
• ‘Footer Top Column Four‘ etc.

If all the widgets are are not visible here, Go to Appearance > Customize > Footer Option and increase the number of sidebars on ‘Number Of Sidebars‘.

Add the available widget on the specific widget area. All the available widgets are compatible with Sidebars.

How to manage Home Page contents

• From Customize, go to Widgets then Home Main Content Area
• Now click Add a Widget, then click on- AT Posts Column
• This is very advanced widgets, now you can mange content from here
• Again for adding Advertisement,click Add a Widget, then click on AT Advertisement
• It is another advanced widgets for managing Advertisement
• Note : You can add any available Widgets

How to manage Main Sidebar Area

• From Customize, go to Widgets then Main Sidebar Area
• Follow same process to add widgets in that area

How to manage Left Sidebar Area

• From Customize, go to Widgets then Left Sidebar Area
• Follow same process above to add widgets in that area.

How to manage Top Footer Sections

• From Customize, go to Widgets
• From Footer Top Column One, Footer Top Column Two, Footer Top Column Three and Footer Top Column Four, you can manage Footer Section Area with widgets

How to manage Bottom Footer Sections

• From Customize, go to Widgets
• From Footer Bottom Column One, Footer Bottom Column Two , Footer Bottom Column Three and   Footer Bottom Column Four can manage Footer Section Area with widgets

Header Options

You can manage all the section of header from here.

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Header Options
• You will find all the options related to header section.

How to enable-disable Date in header section

• From Customize, go to Header Options then Enable Date and Time
• You can show/hide date and Time

How to setup Breaking News Options

• From Customize, go to Header Options then Breaking News Options
• You will find options for Breaking News.
• Select the Breaking News either from Category or Recent Posts
• Set the title of the Breaking News (Default: Breaking News)
• Set the Breaking News Speed (in ms)
• Set the number of breaking news.
• Checked to show and unchecked to hide breaking news.
• If preview is fine Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

How to setup Social Links

• From Customize, go to Header Options then Social Options
• Enter the respected URL there on every field. If any of the icons is not needed, leave the field blank.
• Checked to Enable Social to enable the social icons on header.
• If preview is fine Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

How to add Header Advertisement

• From Customize, go t Header Options then Header Advertisement
• You can add Advertisement image and link from there
• You can also use your google Ad Sense code here.
• Recommended image size of 730*90
• If preview is fine Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

How to Enable/Disable Search on Header

• From Customize, go to Header Options then Search Options
• Checked on Show Search On Header to enable it
• Checked Enable Another Search Type to change the layout of search.

How to Trends on Header

• From Customize, go to Header Options then Trend Menu Options
• Checked on  Show Trend Menu to show.
• You have to set a menu on trend menu from Appearance > Menus
• Entered the Trend Menu Title (Default: Trends)

Footer Options

Go to Appearance > Customize > Footer Options to customize the footer section.

How to change footer copyright?

• From Customize, go to Footer Option
• You will able to change Copyright Text from there.

How to change the number of Sidebars on footer area?

• From Customize, go to Footer Option
• Select the available number from Number Of Sidebars (section column ) In Top Footer Area
• And if you need two level sidebars on footer, set the number of sidebars on In Bottom Footer Area
• The widgets you added on this specific widget area will display on the footer. (Appearance > Widgets)
• If preview is fine, Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

How to enable/disable go to top?

• From Customize, go to Footer Option and Enable go to top
• You will enable/disable form Enable go to top check box.

How to enable/disable social on footer area?

• From Customize, go to Footer Option and Enable Social In Footer
• Checked on Enable Social In Footer to enable social icons on footer.
• Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

How to hide Enable theme name and Powered by?

• From Customize, go to Footer Option
• You will enable/disable Enable Theme Name and Powered by Text.
• If you add your own text on Your Own Powered By Text field, your own powered by text will appear in place of theme powered by text.

Layout/Design Options

Very flexible options for changing you site layout, design and colors. You can manage Single Page, Archive Pages, Default Sidebar, Default Related Posts, Sticky sidebar etc from this section. Use the available options to customize your site layout.

How to add / remove intro Intro Loader Middle Image ?

• From customize go to Layout/Design options > Intro Loader Options.
• Select the image for intro loader.
• Select the background color for intro loader section.
• Check to enable and unchecked to disable the intro loader.
• Click on Save & Publish button to save the changes.

Button Design

• From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Button Design.
• Select the Button Design Rounded or Rectangle.
• All the button with the site will changed accordingly.

Setting up Boxed Layout

• From Customize > Layout/Design Option> Enable Box Layout
• Checked on Enable Box Layout to make the box layout of your site.
• If preview is fine, click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

How to change the appearance of front page/home page with sidebars?

• From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Front/Home Sidebar Layout.
• Select No sidebar for full width.
• If Right Sidebar is necessary, choose right sidebar.
• Available options are Left Sidebar, Right sidebar, Both sidebar and No sidebar.

How to set Default sidebar Layout?

• From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Default sidebar layout.
• Select the available options from the drop down.
• Please Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.
• If you select the sidebar, new page and post will automatically set this layout.
• If you want to change the layout of individual page/post, you will get options inside the individual page and post.

How to Override Default Sidebar From the Individual Post/Page ?

• Go to Posts/Pages
• Add New post/page
• Set the sidebar layout from the options
• Click on Publish button to publish the change.

How to make Sidebar Sticky ?

• From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Sticky Sidebar Option.
• Checked on Enable Sticky Sidebar Loader to make the sidebar sticky.

How to manage the Blog / Archive Layout?

From this section you can manage blog page, archive page as well as Author page. You will get Image Options, Excerpt options, Exclude Category Options etc.

• From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Blog / Archive Layout Options.
• You will find lot of options for Blog and Archive Layout.
• Use the available options as your need.
• If preview is fine, click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

How to change the color of different sections?

We categorized two types of color options. Basic color options and Advanced color options.

Basic Color Options:

• From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Basic Color Options.
• Select the available color as your need.
• You san change Background color, Site Title and Tagline Color, Hover Color, Heading color, Primary color and more.
• Click on Save & Publish button to save the changes.

Advanced Color Options:

• From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Advanced Color Options.
• More Color options are available here.
• Choose the color as your need.
• Click on Save & Publish button to save the changes.

How to manage the font’s family?

There are more than 100 font’s family available on this theme. To manage the fonts,

• From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Font Family.
• You will find the various options for managing font’s family.
• Click on Save & Publish button to save the changes.

How to add Background Image?

• From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Background Image.
• Select the Image from the media library or upload from the drive.

Where to write the Custom CSS?

• From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Custom CSS.
• Write your own custom CSS here.
• Click on Save & Publish button to save the changes.

Single Post Options

How to show related post on single post?

• From Customize, go to Single Post Options > Single Post Related Post Options.
• Select the available options or manage the options for managing related posts on single post.
• You can Show/Hide related posts.
• Your Own Related Posts title.
• Number of Columns on Related Posts.
• Show/Hide Date, Comments, Category, Author and Image.
• You can also manage the number of words in the content of the related post.
• If preview is fine, Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

How to Manage Author Info?

• From Customize, go to Single Post Options > Author Info Options.
• Check to show and unchecked to hide the Show Author Info on single post.

How to Manage Featured Image on Single Post ?

• From Customize, go to Single Post Options > Feature Image Option.
• Checked on Hide Featured Image to hide the featured image on single post.
• You can easily override the featured image on individual page from Single Page/Post.

How to manage meta on Single Post ?

• From Customize, go to Single Post Options > Meta Display Option.
• You can easily Show/Hide Date, Category, Author, Tags.
• Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

How to manage post navigation options?

• From Customize, go to Single Post Options > Post Navigation Options.
• Select the available options for Navigation. (Default, Title and Image and Image) are the available options.

How to manage Post comment Options?

• From Customize, go to Single Post Options > Post comments Options.
• Use available options for managing this section.
• Click on Save & Publish button to save the changes.

Extra Options

Here lots of options are available for managing your site. This options help you to customize your site easily.

How to manage Breadcrumb?

• From Customize, go to Extra Options > Breadcrumb Options.
• You can select the available options from dropdown for breadcrumb.
• Click on Save & Publish button to save the changes.

How to change the Author description layout ?

• From Customize, go to Extra Options > Author Archive Options.
• You can select the available options from dropdown on Author Archive Page Options
• Click on Save & Publish button to save the changes.

How to change Pagination Type?

• From Customize, go to Extra Options > Pagination Options.
• Select pagination type from the available options.
• If preview is fine, click on Save & Publish button to save the changes.

How to change the Search Placeholder?

• From Customize, go to Extra Options > Search.
• Write the search placeholder. (Default: Search)
• Click on Save & Publish button to save the changes.

How to change Custom No Images ?

While creating post or in already created post, if you missed to set the featured image, default No Image will be shown in place of featured image. You have to set the four different size of No Image Available for it.

• From Customize, go to Extra Options > Custom No Images.
• Set the image size with mentioned size there.
• Click on Save & Publish button to save the changes.

How to reset Color and Fonts?

• From Customize, go to Reset Options.
• Select for resetting Color or Fonts.
• Click on Save & Publish button to save the changes.

Caution: Reset theme settings according to the given options. Refresh the page after saving to view the effects.

How to add Video on place on Featured Image?

This theme provides the feature for using video instead of featured image for single page. It is easy to embed your youtube video on your post.

• Create a new post or edit the old post.
• Below the featured image section, you will find the Featured Video section.
• As mentioned there, put your video id after ‘embed’.
• Uxample: https://www.youtube.com/embed/tyFzhpyHnUI
• Just change the id ‘tyFzhpyHnUI’ with your own video id of youtube.
• If you want to replace the featured image by video then check on Replace Featured Image In Single Post.
• If you need auto play check on Autoplay Video.
• Click on Publish or Update button above.

Widget Description

There are several widgets available in the theme. All the available widgets are easy to operate and helps to build your site easily.

For managing widget,

Go to Appearance > Widgets

Drag and Drop or simply click to add the Widget on widget area.

SuperNewsPro have Main(Right) Sidebar, Home Main Content Area, Left Sidebar Area, Footer top column one, Footer top column two, Footer top column three , footer top column four. And also Footer bottom column one, Footer bottom column two, footer bottom column three and footer bottom column four.

You can set the available widget on the available widget area.

AT Advertisement:

This widget help you to add the advertisement image, title, code, and link. Use can use the available options for managing advertisement on the specific widget area.

AT Author:

This widget is used for managing the author with author details, image etc.

AT Categories Column:

This widget helps to show the post from different category. You can give the title and select the category to display on the widget area.

AT Gallery:

This widget is used for making gallery on the widget area. One image will appeared large and other stay as gallery form.

AT Gallery Slider:

This is unique gallery slider for post.

And several other widgets are available on this theme. Use the widget with available options. It is easy to use and user friendly. Each field is described on every section.
